Eyelashes are very important for expressive eyes. Not only for humans, but also for dolls.

The easiest way to make eyelashes for a crocheted doll is to buy special eyelashes from a handmade store and stick them on. But they don’t always fit and don’t always look good on the doll.

You can draw them. And you can make voluminous eyelashes for the doll by yourself.

You will need a thin thread, for example, mouline or sewing thread with the color of eyelashes, and a needle. You can fix the eyelashes with PVA glue or acrylic varnish.

The eyes for such eyelashes can be painted, embroidered or crocheted, as you like best, depending on the doll and its purpose.

In this short video I show you how to make these eyelashes. If it is that the owner can tug or pull the doll’s eyelashes assumed (for example, a doll is not for the interior), then it is necessary to complicate the process shown in the video a little and make knots, fastening the thread from each eyelash to the back of the head.
