Tinting a doll is a completely optional process. If the doll is crocheted for a small child, tinting is not recommended at all.
But sometimes you are amazed how applying the tone in the right places changes the overall appearance of the doll’s body.
The doll becomes more natural, toning emphasizes the right places, forms shadows.
And a slight blush on her cheeks? Immediately a different look and expression on the face, the doll seems to come to life.
You can use different materials for tinting, from eyeshadow to different types of paints, I prefer acrylic paint diluted in water, and in this video I will explain why.
And also, in this video I will tint the entire doll body and show the places to which you need to pay special attention.
The model in this video is crocheted with my video tutorial “Doll Alicia”.
