Right or wrong side out? The question is rather rhetorical.
Work as you like best. Before I started crocheting dolls, I crocheted toys for many years and always worked with the right side out, it seemed like it was right, this is how I was taught in childhood.
And my first dolls were also crocheted in the same way, but then I realized for myself that the wrong side looks better for dolls, smoother and more beautiful. And I have been crocheting with the wrong side out for several years now.
