To paint the eyes for a doll, you will need a base. It can be white fabric, preferably cotton or calico. You can use thin felt, as I do.
By the way, I like felt more, the contours are a little blurry, and the eyes look more natural.
But this is optional.
So, we take fabric, acrylic paints, as they can’t be washed off with water (you can take special paints for the fabric), a thin brush, water, and great patience.
First you need to cut out two identical eyes.
We start drawing from the center, and finish with an outlining around the edges. Choose the color of the eyes depending on the image of the doll.
After painting, I recommend you to cover the eyes with varnish, the easiest option is nail varnish, it will add shine and fix the paint.
Don’t forget to add highlights for a natural look.
I don’t recommend using superglue to glue the eyes on the doll’s face, it is better to use silicone glue.
